1. Who we are and what this policy covers

GadgetRunnr Inc. operates RaidenCore from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to GadgetRunnr Inc. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit raidencore.com, shop with us, or contact us about RaidenCore products.

We are responsible for personal information under our control, including information handled by service providers on our behalf. Our privacy contact can be reached at support@raidencore.com. Some providers also handle information for their own purposes, as explained below.

2. Information we collect

  • Orders and delivery: your name, email, billing and shipping addresses, phone number if provided, products and quantities ordered, prices, currency, payment status, transaction references, and fulfillment, return or refund information.
  • Support and bulk enquiries: your name, email, optional order number, message and correspondence. Bulk enquiries also ask for the number of cases, delivery country and postal or ZIP code.
  • Technical and security information: IP address, approximate country, browser or device information, request times, and information needed to serve pages, diagnose errors, prevent abuse and protect checkout. Contact-form protection uses a hashed IP identifier and temporary submission identifiers.
  • Information from providers: order and payment updates from Shopify and payment providers, delivery updates from fulfillment providers, and email delivery information from our support email services.

We receive information directly from you, automatically through your interactions with the website, and from providers involved in your transaction. Please provide only information needed for your enquiry. Do not send payment-card numbers, passwords, government identification or unrelated sensitive information through our contact form or email.

If you give us another person’s information, such as a gift recipient’s delivery details, make sure you have permission to provide it for that purpose.

3. How we use information

We use information as needed to:

  • Display products, regional prices, currency and delivery options.
  • Prepare checkout, process payments and orders, arrange delivery, and handle returns, refunds and order-related communications.
  • Answer support questions and prepare requested bulk-order quotes.
  • Keep the website working, investigate problems, prevent spam and fraud, and protect customers and our business.
  • Maintain necessary financial records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and respond to lawful requests.

We use an IP-derived country to select the initial shopping region; we do not request your device’s precise GPS location. The address you enter at checkout determines final delivery eligibility and may change the applicable pricing, currency or taxes.

Displaying or updating an offer can create a temporary Shopify cart before you choose to check out. This involves the selected product, quantity, country and technical request information, including buyer IP where available. It does not place an order or subscribe you to emails.

We seek the consent required by applicable law and explain the purposes for collecting information. The form of consent depends on the information and circumstances. We do not make optional marketing or analytics consent a condition of purchasing a case.

You can ask about our practices or withdraw consent by contacting support@raidencore.com. Withdrawal applies going forward and may be subject to legal or contractual restrictions. If information is necessary to complete a delivery or respond to an enquiry, withdrawing permission may prevent us from providing that service. We will explain relevant consequences and any records we must retain.

Where law permits or requires processing without consent, such as keeping tax records or responding to valid legal process, we may rely on that authority. This policy is a notice about our practices; simply visiting the website is not blanket consent to every possible use of your information.

5. Service providers and other disclosures

Information is shared as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including with these providers or categories of recipients:

  • Shopify and payment providers support product offers, carts, checkout, payments, order records and transaction security. Shopify-hosted checkout collects payment details; our contact form does not. We receive order and payment-status information needed to manage your purchase.
  • Vercel hosts and delivers the storefront and supports request handling, country detection and infrastructure security.
  • Brevo and our email service providers deliver contact-form messages and handle support correspondence.
  • Upstash supports temporary abuse-prevention and duplicate-submission records when the online contact form is enabled on our hosted website.
  • Google processes website measurement information through Google Analytics 4, as described in the analytics section.
  • Shipping, fulfillment and customs service providers receive details needed to deliver orders and meet applicable customs requirements.
  • Professional advisers and authorities may receive information where necessary for accounting, legal advice, a legal obligation, a valid request or the protection of legal rights.

If a business sale, merger or reorganization is proposed, relevant information may be disclosed where legally permitted and subject to appropriate confidentiality and purpose restrictions. We will provide notice when required if responsibility for your information changes.

Shopify may also process information for its own purposes when you use its services, such as Shop or Shop Pay, or features governed by its consumer policy. Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and visit Shopify’s privacy portal for its applicable choices. Contact us about information we control; provider policies do not replace our responsibilities to you.

6. International processing

We operate in Canada, but our providers and their infrastructure may process or store information in other countries, including the United States. Overseas deliveries also require information to be handled in the destination country. Information processed abroad may be subject to local laws and lawful access by courts or public authorities there.

When transferring information to providers acting for us, we remain accountable for its handling and use appropriate contractual and other safeguards required by applicable law. Contact our privacy contact for information about the providers involved in your transaction or our cross-border handling practices.

7. Cookies, checkout and browser controls

Cookies and similar technologies can support shopping sessions, checkout, security and saved preferences. Shopify and payment services may use these technologies when you enter checkout or use their services. Our storefront selects your initial country from the request’s IP-derived location, rather than a country-selection cookie.

You can manage cookies through your browser and any privacy controls provided by the service you are using. Blocking necessary cookies may affect checkout or other requested features. Browser controls normally apply only to that browser and device and do not delete order records.

The RaidenCore storefront does not currently have advertising pixels installed or change its behaviour in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Shopify-hosted services have their own practices and controls. Where applicable law requires recognition of an opt-out preference signal, that requirement is not waived by this policy.

8. Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site and to improve the shopping experience. Where consent is required, optional analytics is used only after that consent is provided. You may refuse or withdraw optional analytics consent without losing access to shopping or support.

Its measurements may include pages viewed, interactions, referral sources, device or browser details, approximate location and cookie identifiers. Google states that GA4 uses IP addresses during collection but does not log or store them. This does not mean all analytics information is anonymous.

We do not send names, email addresses, payment details or support-message contents to Google Analytics. Analytics consent is not permission for advertising or marketing emails. You can contact us about analytics choices using the privacy email in this policy.

Learn about Google’s use of information from partner sites and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on is an additional browser tool, not a replacement for any consent choices we are required to provide.

9. Support emails and marketing

At launch, our emails are limited to support, requested enquiries and necessary order or service communications. Sending a message or making a purchase does not subscribe you to a newsletter or promotional email list. We do not sell customer lists for money.

If we introduce promotional emails, we will explain the proposed use, obtain the consent required by law and provide an unsubscribe method. Optional marketing choices will be separate from essential communications about an order you placed or a request you made.

10. How long we keep information

Retention depends on why information was collected, whether an order or enquiry remains open, and applicable accounting, legal, security and dispute-resolution requirements. We do not apply one retention period to every type of information.

  • Order and financial records: kept to administer transactions and meet tax and accounting obligations. Canadian tax records generally must be kept for at least six years from the end of the last tax year they relate to; some circumstances require longer retention.
  • Support and bulk enquiries: kept as needed to answer the request, provide relevant follow-up, and handle related transactions or disputes. An enquiry does not justify keeping unrelated information indefinitely.
  • Contact-form protection: our application’s rate-limit records expire after ten minutes and duplicate-submission identifiers after 24 hours. These periods do not apply to support emails or providers’ separate security logs and backups.
  • Analytics: user-level and event-level data is subject to the retention controls configured in Google Analytics and kept only as needed to assess and improve site performance. Aggregated statistical reports may remain available for longer. Contact us for information about the retention settings that apply to your data.

When information is no longer needed, we take appropriate steps to delete, securely destroy or de-identify it. Legal holds and necessary backup retention can delay removal. Contact us to ask about a particular record; a deletion request does not override a legal duty to retain it.

11. Protecting your information

We use safeguards appropriate to the information and risks, including encrypted connections, server-side handling of service credentials, validation of contact submissions and abuse-prevention controls. Access should be limited to people and providers who need the information for an authorized purpose.

No website, email service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. If a privacy incident occurs, we will assess it, take appropriate action, and notify affected people and authorities where required by law. Please contact us if you suspect unauthorized use of information connected with your RaidenCore order.

12. Children and younger players

Our products can be enjoyed by younger players. Parents or guardians should handle purchases and support enquiries for children who cannot provide meaningful consent. Children under 13 should not submit their own personal information through our contact form or checkout; a parent or guardian should contact us on their behalf using the adult’s details.

We do not seek to collect personal information directly from children under 13 without the parental authorization required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information inappropriately, email support@raidencore.com so we can investigate and arrange deletion or another legally appropriate response. Older young people’s consent also depends on applicable law and their ability to understand the use of their information.

13. Your privacy rights and requests

Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may be entitled to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold and obtain access or a copy.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion, restriction of use or a portable copy where those rights apply.
  • Withdraw consent or object to certain processing, including opting out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising where applicable.
  • Challenge our handling of information, request review of a decision, or complain to the relevant privacy authority.

Email support@raidencore.com with “Privacy request” in the subject and describe your request. An order number or the email used for your enquiry can help us locate a record. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority; please do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are necessary and how to provide them securely.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any lawful extension, limitation or refusal and available review options. Rights are subject to exceptions, including necessary record retention and protecting other people’s information. We will not penalize you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Canadian customers can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the relevant provincial regulator. Customers elsewhere may contact the competent authority in their jurisdiction. Nothing in this policy limits rights that applicable law provides, or assumes that every jurisdiction’s law applies to every transaction.

14. Links and other services

If you follow an external link or use a separate service such as a payment wallet, its operator’s privacy terms apply to its own handling of your information. Review those terms and available choices. We remain responsible for disclosures we make and information handled on our behalf as required by law.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. For material changes, we will provide additional notice and obtain fresh consent where required before using information for a new purpose. A policy update alone does not override your consent choices.
